: women's ministry

My name is Sue Bartl and my husband is Ken. We have 5 children and 9 grand children. When I retired, I began attending the Thursday morning Women’s Bible Study and through the love and prayers and guidance of loving Christian women, I was led by God to be the Chairperson of the Women’s Ministry Council. What an honor it is to work for the ladies of FCOG and to see each day how God expresses His great love for His beloved daughters. He is doing great and awesome things for His beloved daughters. I encourage you to become a part of the women’s ministry by attending our weekly Bible Studies (see the website for details each season) and/or frequent events,   and become involved in His awesome ministry.  

 

I am married to Don, mother of Sheri and Jon David, "Mimi" to Evan, Mitchell, Mallory and Audrey!  I retired from the IRC Sheriff's Office as Victim Assistance Coordinator 07/07/07.  Don & I have been attending FCOG for many years.  I am very humbled and privileged to have been lead by the Holy Spirit to respond to the call to become a member of the WM Council.  It is my desire that as a member of this leadership team we can reach out to all the ladies in our church; extending a loving and caring environment for  them to grow in their spiritual lives, while drawing closer to our Lord in a more intimate walk in HIM through fellowship and teaching in our Women's Ministry. 

I am the wife of Jason Keen and the mother of twin boys, Preston and Peyton, and a daughter, Paige. They are precious and keep us on our toes! I also work part-time for Walgreen’s as a pharmacist. God has given me a heart for women’s and children’s ministry. With that said, I want ladies of all ages to see and know a God who loves them and a church of people who care for them.

My husband Bob and I just moved to the area recently. We love Vero Beach and our new church home at FCOG. We grew up in Ft. Lauderdale, where our son Duane is an associate pastor. Women’s Ministry is special to me because I came to know and love Jesus in a Ladies Bible Study 36 years ago. I have been involved with many ministries all over the country. I know we have a special group of ladies at FCOG Women’s Ministry who love Christ and each other. I have a heart to see this love passed on to ladies like myself (36 years ago) who need to have a relationship with our Savior and the fellowship of his daughters. I am grateful for this opportunity to serve on the WMC. 

 

I am Michele Tegtmeier and am married to Brian. We have one daughter, Samantha, who is a high school teacher in Gainesville, FL. I have attended FCOG since 1991. As an employee of FCOG, I serve as liaison to Women’s Ministry and as the Assistant to the Children’s Ministry Director. It is my privilege to serve WM and work toward the goal of letting all women know that they are daughter’s of the King.   I enjoy walking, music, and shopping.
