WHAT IS AIM?

AIM is inspired by God and designed for mothers of infants through 5th grade children who want to come together twice monthly to share God’s word, parenting tips, laughter and friendship. AIM is designed to be coordinated and staffed by the older women of the church each meeting so that the Moms can be free to come and relax and fellowship. This is a time to build relationships in Christ and between the older and younger women of the church.

WHEN DOES IT BEGIN?

Meetings begin Tuesday, February 2, 2010 and will be held the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month through May. They will break for the summer and begin again in September. To attend or get involved, sign up below. Invite a friend.

WHO CAN COME?

It is open to all Moms with children infants through 5th Grade who attend FCOG, but is also open to the community. (Sign up on the back of this brochure) Invite a friend.

WHO CAN BE INVOLVED?

AIM is calling all God’s Beloved Daughters. Do you believe that the older women are to train the younger so that the “Christian faith can’t be spoken against by those who know them” Titus 2:4-5

Are you a Grandmother or Aunt, a sister, single or married or just a woman who desires to serve God and is called to minister to our Moms? You are an AIM person.

WHAT CAN I DO? VOLUNTEER

AIM needs women who can come to AIM meetings each month and minister to our Moms by serving on one of the following committees:

HOSPITALITY VOLUNTEER Will serve as greeters at each meeting and provide a snack (budget available) and track all Mom’s and new attendees

SPIRITUAL LIAISON Will work with the Program Leaders to set up and maintain a table containing various spiritual materials pertaining to Parenting, the Bible, Homemaking etc.

CHILDCARE PROVIDERS Childcare is provided for the Moms and if you have a heart to spend time with little ones once or twice monthly for 2 hours this is for you.

RELATIONSHIP MINISTRY Many women are needed for this position. Can you be available for relationship building and friendship? Are you a Titus 2:4-5 woman?

ACTIVITIES/CRAFT LEADER These women will provide a craft or special activity 3 or 4 times a year during the major holiday seasons.

Heart of Prayer

You are encouraged to join members of the FCOG Prayer Commission each Tuesday at 3:00pm in the Chapel to pray specifically for our church, our God-given leaders and all ministries and missions.

Indian River County Intercessors

All are welcome to join prayer warriors from the community who come together in the Chapel each Tuesday at 4:00pm to pray for Indian River County.

Prayer Chapel
