Car Care Saturday: A multi-faceted ministry involving specific human care needs such as financial, food and emergency bill paying, car care for widows and single parents, prepared meals, emergency home repairs and Thanksgiving food assistance to those in need.
Christian Counseling: A professional on-site organization that meets with individuals, couples, and families to provide comprehensive counseling as needed.
Financial Ministries: A multi-faceted ministry to help people understand God’s way of handling money and resources through a biblical perspective.
Hospital Flowers:When members of this ministry learn of members and/or family members in the hospital, they arrange to deliver a bouquet expressing FCOG’s concern and support.
Meals Ministry:When members of this ministry learn of crisis needs within the body during sickness, a return from the hospital or an absent homemaker, they deliver meals to the homes as needed.
Primetimers: Senior adult ministry for those 50+, seasonal luncheons and trips. A caring ministry includes visitation of our ill and homebound.
The Carpenter’s Hands:When members of this ministry learn of problems with house repairs that the occupant personally cannot do, or afford to have done, they assist with repairs as possible.
Visitation Ministry: Visitation to hospitals, residence facilities and shut-ins as well as other requested visits are handled by the church ministers and other lay ministers within the church.
Weddings and Funerals/Memorial Servicesare also coordinated through the Congregational Care Ministry.
